MISSION STATEMENT
Zero Central provides a positive, inclusive, non-competitive environment where young people and adults, are able to gain skills that promote physical fitness, alongside mind body coordination.
Learning and training aerial skills is fun and challenging. Inverting, balancing, climbing, spinning and twizzling aids in the development of physical and emotional stamina, building trust and confidence in the individual.
Zero Central Circus is a mobile aerial school, providing access to this activity in places which would not usually be able to accommodate it. The mobile aerial rigs we are using are suitable for learning foundational and transitional style moves, with a focus on building strength, flexibility and good technique.
GRAHAM POWER
Graham Power is our Crew Member, Handy Man, maker of Hula Hoops, occasional Rigger, occasional Spotter and general Support System.
Graham is married to Stah, and together they are a two person production power house.
Graham creates the soundtracks, video’s and costumes for Zero Central’s shows, as well as installing the AV to make it all happen.
We love Graham and couldn’t do it with out him.
STAH POWER
I have been professionally training and performing circus disciplines, consistently since 1997, and teaching classes, intermittently, from 2000. I specialise in Aerial Hoop, Trapeze, Hammock & Silks, Aerial Yoga, Stretching & Conditioning.
The National Centre for Circus Arts, London, is where I trained and rehearsed for 20 years, until Covid lockdown 2020. I took private 1:1 classes in Swinging Trapeze, Aerial Hoop, Aerial Silks and Tightwire with various teachers, who all teach on the degree course offered at the centre, and who are my professional peers.
I began teaching Youth Circus in 2018 with Aerial Days at Brookfield Primary School, London. I taught Static Trapeze and Hoop for 10+ hours a week until 2020. I also taught adult classes here and at The London Dance Academy and Skylab, where I was also trained to teach Aerial Yoga.
My performance work has been supported by The Arts Council England, The National Centre for Circus Arts, Queen Mary University, The Esme Fairbairn Foundation, Yorkshire Arts Festival, The Jerwood Foundation and Regional Arts NSW.

“Stah is an excellent teacher. Very patient with the kids and it is amazing how much progress they make in a short period of time! Every week when I collect my daughter, she is excited and has had the best time. I also do the adult classes and it is the highlight of my week! You are never too old to try aerial and Stah really knows her stuff! I highly recommend giving aerial a go with Zero Central Circus.” Emma Johnson

“Aerials is a fantastic way of promoting not only strength and fitness, but confidence. My daughter has been doing it for a couple of years and it has been a good physical challenge for her. It has helped her immensely with other activities that she does as well. Learning how to overcome these challenges has also been a good lesson for her in other areas of her life.n goes here.” Liz Sparks
