‘SPACE DUST CABARET’ OUR SHOWCASE FROM 2024
TERM 1 DATES: 3rd FEB - 10th APRIL
Term 1 is a 10 week term during which time we will focus on new skills in preparation for Term 2 which is when we start preparing our acts for the showcase performance at the end of June.
We are the only aerial school in the Southern Highlands run by professional artists, and our studio boasts 7 individual rigging points, on pulleys, enabling us to set the hoop size and height specifically for each student.
Yes our classes are more expensive then some dance studios that offer ‘aerials’ , however, please consider that we provide each student with their own apparatus for the entire class, teach technique & skill progressions in a safe and structured syllabus.
If you want to take your aerial circus training to the next level than we are the obvious choice, providing tailored, professional tuition on
Lyra, Silks, Trapeze, Cloud Swing and Web Spinning.
Our aerial circus classes are $40 and payable by the term,
installments can arranged.
Our aerial yoga classes are $36 and bookable on a drop in basis.

GOO GOO MUCK - HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY
GOO GOO MUCK was an immersive theatrical experience for young people, an in real life event, a place to interact with friends, build social skills, dance and have fun.
Our troupe students created new aerial acts to ‘Ghost Busters’ performed as the green Slimer Ghost and ‘Goo Goo Muck’ performed as three Wednesday Adams.
Games were conceived and created by our very own Graham Power and included ‘Stick the Eye on the Zombie’ and ‘Throw the Ring on the Witches Hat
We served pop corn, fairy floss and snow cones.
This 10 minutes video is a documentary of how it went down, from start to finish, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
NATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL & TRAINING PROGRAM
I am delighted to announce that I have received funding from the Australian Government via Regional Arts NSW to contribute towards the costs of attending the National Circus Festival and Training Program this coming October.
I will spend 5 days participating in workshops to learn new skills to bring back to my students and then attending the 3 days of the festival to see shows and network with the Australian Circus Community with a view to programming performances in our venue in the Southern Highlands.
And you never know, I might even manage to get myself a gig here or there, as I am still active as a performing circus artist at Age 50.

LEARN TO INVERT + BALANCE + CLIMB + SPIN + TWIZZLE
AERIAL SILKS
Aerial Silks is performed on slightly stretchy fabric. Students learn to climb the silks in a variety of styles, wrap into shapes that hold them in the air, and as their strength and skills improve, they learn spectacular rolls and drops.
AERIAL HOOP
Aerial Hoops are made of rolled steel. They provide a rigid structure from which to invert, balance, spin and twizzle. This apparatus requires less strength for beginners to bust some cool shapes, with more of a flow style achievable as you progress.
AERIAL YOGA
Aerial Yoga comes in many styles and is taught on a fabric hammock. Inversions allow you to work with gravity to find space in the joints, while performing the asanas with one foot in the air engages the core as you stabilise to balance.
